Hello readers this week our New Zealand Hero is Taka Waititi as you would have read in the tittle. So for our create activity we had to create a movie inspired by one of Taka Waititi’s movies. I decided to call mine Her instead of Girl because I was going off Boy. So yeah. I have a poster about it below it stars Me, Aaleiyah. It is really interesting to learn about him since he is a movie director and an actor. Also a fun fact is he was married to Chelsea Winstanley who is a film producer. They got married in 2011 and got a divorce in 2018. He is now married to Rita Ora who is a singer and a judge on the Voice Australia.  Another fun fact is that even though Taika Waititi is a director he still acts in all of his own movies. Hi readers today we had a very special vistor named Jay Galdard the creater of  E Tū Tāngata. It was very special that Me, Mackenzie and Christine got to bring him into Pūni-o-toka. Also give him a tour of the school. I loved that he always had questions for us to answer unlike the others when they just listen to us talk. He talked about how he came up with the idea and he was a very special guest of a New Zealand Hero. Here is a photo down below and the person in a white jersey is Jay. Also he is 6 foot 8.
